Top 5 Guerrilla marketing campaigns

Guerrilla Marketing is an advertising strategy that focuses on low-cost unconventional marketing tactics that yield maximum results. The term was inspired by Guerrilla warfare which is a form of irregular warfare and relates to the small tactic strategies used by armed civilians. Many of these tactics includes ambushes, sabotage, raids and elements of surprise. Much like guerrilla warfare, guerrilla marketing uses the same sort of tactics in the marketing industry.

Guerrilla marketing campaigns are my personal favorite by being highly effective and funny in most cases. Here is my TOP 5 Guerrilla Marketing Campaigns. Enjoy!

1.

With other 33million views on Youtube its hard to argue why Red Bulls Guerrilla marketing campaign is not number 1.

2.
guerrilla-marketing-sopranos

One of the most well known examples of Guerrilla marketing is the Soprano’s marketing campaign.

3. Coca Cola

Really great marketing campaign, love the idea and gives everyday people prizes. You can see how quickly it went viral in its relevant locations.

4.National Geographic Channel bus
national geographic shark bus

Very creative, relevant and interactive.

5. Virgin Airlines

virginatlantic-guerilla-marketing

This marketing campaign forces a sense of humour out of customers whom have just travelled on a Virgin Airline flight and plays off against customer perceptions (which i belive to be true) of our luggage being thrown about carelessly. Really helps to try and differentiate Virgin Airlines from competitors for me!

You understand thus significantly in relation to this subject, produced me personally imagine it from numerous various
angles. Its like men and women don’t seem to be interested except it’s one thing to do with Girl gaga!

I provide credit and sources back to your website?

from some of the information you provide here. Please let me know if this alright with
    you. Thanks!

  8. Superb blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring
writers? I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you suggest starting with a free platform like
Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused .. Any suggestions? Appreciate it!

    • Hi there,

If you want to become a writer i would strongly recommend starting a blog and sticking too it! Your number of views and followers will grow after time if you do the following:

      1. Proofread- nobody will read your blog and value your opinions if you do not take the time to proofread your own material
      2. Write creatively- readers want to read something different from everything else out there! Further more, i have made my profile picture quite creative to help me stand out. You could always do the same?
      3. Reblog other content on the web to your followers if it is good and applicable to your niche
      4. Pick a Niche- write for a specific market niche in order to grow your blog. This depends on your blogs aims and objectives; my marketing blog discusses a range of marketing topics because my aim is to secure a job and write about marketing topics of interest for me just for fun. It also helps me because i have a range of marketing professional work experience and i am interested in all marketing job roles so it seems silly for me to narrow down my target market.

I would strongly recommend using a free blogging platform to begin with! WordPress or blogger will do just fine; i find wordpress is great because of its web analytics tools that is of great use to myself. It takes alot of viewers per month for your blog to pay for itself never mind making profit. Start with WordPress and if after 3 months you have 10,000 views per month and still dedicated to continuing your blog then upgrade to wordpress.org which is a paid service of approximately £12 for a year. From there you can invest further by using Google analytics, Pay Per Click (PPC) etc to promote your site as you can reap financial rewards and gain valuable skills that employers value ( i would know, currently applied for over 100 jobs since leaving uni last month).

      Best of Luck

      Steven

  10. It’s very trouble-free to find out any topic on web as compared to textbooks, as I found this piece of writing at this web page.
